Meet Our Staff

“You become what your practice”

Hi there! It’s great to meet you. My name is Jesse and I am the founder of the Wellness Art Club.

I started this club as a response to my own lived experience, having worked in mental health for 10 years and volunteering at a day center for individuals with mental health challenges during my college years. I know the power of art as a means of expression and connection and wanted to create a space for others to benefit from this as well.

During the Covid pandemic and the resulting political and social unrest, I turned to art as a way to cope with the stress and emotions I was feeling. I realized that many others were likely experiencing similar feelings of isolation and anxiety, and that there was a need for a community that could provide support and creative expression.

The Wellness Art Club is designed to provide that support and connection for those seeking it, particularly those who may be struggling with mental health challenges, addiction, loss of connection, or simply seeking a safe and welcoming space to connect with others. Through seminars and workshops focused on self-improvement and creative expression, I hope to create a community that fosters healing and growth.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to benefit from the power of art and connection, and I am excited to continue growing the Wellness Art Club and expanding its impact in the future. Thank you for your interest in my work, and I look forward to connecting with you further.
